I was raised just outside of Pittsburgh, PA and received my first camera from my grandmother while studying Graphic Design, Multimedia & Web Design at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I developed a quick love for photography after a trip to the zoo to experiment with my new camera and have never been without one since. I currently shoot with a Sony Alpha A7III.
I love to share my passion for photography with others who want to learn, whether it's just the basics, getting their cameras off "auto" or really getting into full manual! My favorite subjects are landscapes and wildlife.
I occasionally enter photo competitions, contests, and submit photos for publication. Several photos have won international awards as well as having been published by CNN, CNN Travel, CNN Style, and White Pass & Yukon Railway.
In addition to photography, I'm a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Security and Risk Analysis with a focus in Information and Cyber Security and a graduate of Seton Hill University with a B.S. in Forensic Science. I currently work for a MSP outside of Pittsburgh. In my spare time, I love spending time with my daughter. I also love playing flute with my daughter and also with our local community band and flute choir, reading, and going to local fairs, festivals, and parks.
